Actress Valentina Grishokina dies at 79



Soviet and Ukrainian actress Valentina Grishokina, known for "Aty-baty, there were soldiers ...", has died at the age of 78. She starred in more than 50 projects: from series to feature films, writes "Russian newspaper".

The actress starred in Soviet, Russian, Ukrainian cinema and in projects of two countries. Grishokina worked a lot as a dubbing actress (“Leader White Feather”, “Revenge and Law”, “The Secret of the Carpathian Castle”).

Grishokina was born on June 30, 1944 in Tashkent. She graduated from the acting department of the Kyiv State Institute of Theater Arts named after Karpenko-Kary, worked as a full-time actress at the Alexander Dovzhenko Studio.

At the end of her life, she ended up in a nursing home.

The actress also starred in the TV series The Sniffer.
