Activists Kamardin and Daineko were suspected of inciting hatred because of poems with insults to participants in the special operation

Activists Artem Kamardin and Nikolai Daineko are suspects under paragraph “a” of Part 2 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code (inciting hatred or enmity with the use of violence or the threat of its use) after a public reading of poetry. It is reported “New Newspaper. Europe” and OVD-Info (recognized as a foreign agent). On September 25, they participated in the “Mayakov’s Readings” on Triumfalnaya Square, which were declared “anti-mobilization”.

During the rally, Artem Kamardin read poems of his own composition, including about the murder of “the president’s hired soldiers” and dances “on the bones of the regime.” Also, his poems contained insulting remarks about the participants in the special operation and ended with the chants of Ukrainian nationalists.

Nikolai Daineko’s lawyer Leysan Mannapova told the online publication SOTAthat, according to the decision to initiate a case, “unidentified persons expressed information containing signs of inciting hatred or hostility towards representatives of the armed formations of the LDNR, and called for violence against them and their families.”

Nikolai Daineko was detained during the readings, a protocol was drawn up against him on participation in an uncoordinated action (part 5 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). The Shcherbinsky District Court fined him 20 thousand rubles, then the activist was taken to the TFR. On September 26, Artyom Kamardin’s apartment was searched. “New Newspaper. Europe” reported that the security forces “beat Kamardin very badly and put a dumbbell in his anus.” This information confirmed “b” his lawyer Leonid Solovyov. He told RTVIthat Artem Kamardin was taken to the hospital in an ambulance. According to the lawyer, the doctors issued a certificate stating that the activist had a “closed craniocerebral injury, concussion and clouding of consciousness,” but he did not need hospitalization.
