A young athlete from Kabardino-Balkaria became the European champion in grappling
The Open European Championship in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Grappling of the TWW BJJ League has ended in Grozny.
More than two thousand athletes from all over Russia and neighboring countries competed in battles for the title of the best.
An athlete from Kabardino-Balkaria, Umar Makhiev, showed a brilliant result, the administration of the head of the republic reported. The sixth form student competed among boys under 16 and won the European champion title.
