A tournament in memory of a sports veteran was held in the regional center of Kalmykia
An open mini-football tournament among men's teams was held in the Yashkulsky district of Kalmykia.
It was dedicated to the memory of the veteran of sports and pedagogical work, the excellent worker of public education of the RSFSR Vitaly Barkabenov. Six teams competed on the field of the Youth Sports School in the district center. The 1981 players won the winner's challenge cup. The employees of DU-2 came in second, and the youth of Yashkul took third place.
In the following nominations, memorable prizes were awarded: "Best Player" - Dordzhi Dzhokhaev, "Best Forward" - Vasily Bambaev, "Best Defender" - Eduard Garyaev, "Best Goalkeeper" - Danzan Naminov. Audience Choice Awards were received by Badma Shtepin and Ayush Olyushkeev.
