"A series of mistakes": HC "Sochi" again lost to "Amur"

The second meeting of HC Sochi with Khabarovsk Amur in two weeks turned out to be a defeat for the Leopards. The match, which took place at the Khabarovsk Platinum Arena on October 6, ended with the score 3:4.

After losing at home, the Sochi team hoped to take revenge from the Tigers. The Leopards confidently started the match, sending the puck into the opponent's goal already in the 4th minute. However, Amur hockey players quickly won back the advantage, strengthening it by the end of the first half with 2 points. The second period was also left behind by the Khabarovsk team thanks to a goal by Artem Alyaev.

Despite the victory in the third half, the "leopards" could not defeat the "tigers". The period twice pleased the Sochi fans with the pucks of Artur Tyanulin and Kirill Petkov, but in the end the Khabarovsk fans rejoiced after the final goal by Alyaev.

“There was a series of mistakes, two or three mistakes, they just went, went, went one after the other, and in the end we missed the puck. It's okay, we'll sort it out and prepare for the next game," Andrey Nazarov, head coach of HC Sochi, commented on the match.

The next Leopards game will take place on October 8th. Sochi players will meet with the hockey players of "Siberia" on the ice of rivals.

Recall that HC Sochi is still in last place in the standings among the teams of the Bobrov Division. The sports year did not work out for the Leopards already during the pre-seasonbut hockey players still have a chance to rectify the situation.
