Every year, the Moscow Marathon gathers tens of thousands of participants – this year 19,000 people covered many kilometers of distance.
More than 40 support points and 28 pacemakers were organized for runners. Residents of Bashkiria also took part in the race, with Ravil Migranov, a veteran of athletics from Ishimbay, taking second place in the 80+ category. During his career, he won more than 20 victories. Another native of the republic is the master of sports of Russia in weightlifting Rishat Sultanov. He finished 47th in a row.
