A mobile recruiting center was deployed in the Astrakhan region on the border with Kazakhstan

In the Astrakhan region, on the border with Kazakhstan, a mobile recruiting center was deployed near the Karauzek checkpoint. Employees of the military registration and enlistment office are already handing summons to men liable for military service. This was announced by the head of the Krasnoyarsk region Ruslan Bisenov.

“Employees of the military commissariat for the Krasnoyarsk and Volodarsk regions have already begun handing summons to citizens who are subject to conscription. Those who received this document are not released from Russia on the basis of the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation "On the announcement of partial mobilization in the Russian Federation," Ruslan Bisenov wrote in his Telegram channel.

According to him, the summons is handed not only to the residents of the Astrakhan region, but also to all Russians who are registered with the military.

The Karauzek checkpoint is one of the main checkpoints through which you can enter Kazakhstan from the Astrakhan region. Previously, a many-kilometer traffic jam formed here from those wishing to leave Russia. This happened after the announcement of partial mobilization in Russia on 21 September.

Previously, mobile recruiting stations were deployed at land borders with Finland and Georgia. There they hand out subpoenas to men liable for military service.
