A man suspected of supplying microchips to Russia was detained in the Netherlands



Reuters, citing the Dutch prosecutor's office, reported that law enforcement agencies of the Netherlands have detained a man whom they suspect of organizing the supply of microchips to the Russian Federation.

The prosecutor's office said in a statement that the detainee was selling to Russia computer chips, dual-use, that is, suitable for use in the production of weapons.

Details about the citizenship or country of origin of the detainee were not reported. It is only known that he is 55 years old, according to the telegram channel "Earlier then others".
