10 medals from the Open Physics Olympiad were brought by the Russian team

In Belarus, the results of the Open Olympiad in Physics were summed up, in which teams from nine countries took part, in particular, Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Syria, Tajikistan, Turkey and Uzbekistan. The Russian team brought 10 medals from the competition, four of which were won by students of the Physical-Technical Lyceum. P.L. Kapitsa (Dolgoprudny).

So, on account of the students of the Physics and Technology Lyceum, there are three gold medals in the senior league – they were received by Daniil Gavrilov, Alexander Ivshin and Vsevolod Dolya and one silver medal in the same age category. Roman Burtsev became its owner. Also medals were given to children from the Republican Lyceum for Gifted Children of the city of Saransk, students of the Physics and Mathematics School from Tyumen, the Presidential Physics and Mathematics Lyceum No. 239 of St. Petersburg and Lyceum No. 5 from the city of Dolgoprudny.

The Olympiad was held in two age categories – from 13 to 15 years old and from 16 to 18 years old. In the first theoretical round, the guys solved extensive tasks from different sections of school physics. The tasks of the second – experimental round – were designed in such a way that the guys, without special equipment, could conduct experiments.

Schoolchildren who won the Open Belarusian Physics Olympiad in the senior league become candidates for the Russian national team for the 2023 International Physics Olympiad. The guys who played in the junior league became candidates for the team at the International Junior Natural Science Olympiad.
